James Garman

My name is James "Jim" Garman, and I'm the CEO of Kannaco. To me, Kannaco is much more than a brand. It is our way of life, a micro-economy of well-respected, intelligent, resourceful, and genuinely good people that I'm proud to call my teammates. We are mission-driven to continuously develop products that provide value to our customers and service our customers better than our competitors.

I have lived the vast majority of my adult life in the San Diego area, where I moved back in 2010. During my college years and while attending Kansas State University, I met a girl from California who is now my wife, mother of my children, and responsible for taking me to the West Coast.

Kannaco is responsible for taking us back to Kansas, where we have developed the vital production infrastructure responsible for the awesome products our customers can enjoy. I genuinely love what I do. I never thought I would ever be back in Kansas farming and doing the things I knew as a kid. I also never thought I would have the opportunity to help so many people find relief through the products my team and I get to make. It has been a wild ride, and I can't wait to share all of the awesome things we have in our pipeline with our customers.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and the creative things in life. Playing guitar, making music, designing marketing collateral, woodworking, metal fabrication, turning wrenches - I tend to keep plenty of irons in the fire.
